We bought my mother-in-law several baking dishes for Mother's Day and I was thinking about putting a couple of King Arthur Flour mixes in the package too. I was thinking maybe of the old-fashioned date bars, the cinnamon streusel coffee cake, and maybe a couple of others. Has anyone tried the mixes? Are they any good? (They look good!)

I haven't tried either of those, but I *love* their muffin and scone mixes. I've also tried their cake and icing mixes and been quite happy with those as well, and after several years of making Christmas stollen from scratch and being somewhat dissatisfied with the results, I tried the KA stollen mix and haven't looked back.

you DEFINITELY have to try the chocolate lava mix...you can buy the mix in a set that includes silicone cups...it is heavenly..especially for a mix...you can add some fresh raspberries and fresh cream on top once they're done..yummy!
