Scottsdale recommendations

Any recommendations on Scottsdale restaurants woudl be appreciated. Middle to upper middle end is the area. Good food without stuff atmosphere. Thanks,

Another great restaurant that is within walking distance is 'Tutti Santi' on 64th st and Greenway.
Unfortunately no patio....Great ambiance...candle lit dining!
A nice Italian Bistro....try the Agnello Dorato with Fettuccine...(Braised Lamb Shank) It is to die for!'

We LOVE Tutti Santi! You *must* try their homemade ravioli - they are like little pillows of heaven that have floated down from the sky, bathed in delightful cream and marinara sauce!

For breakfast you have to try the Breakfast Club. Scottsdale Road & Stetson. Get the breakfast burrito.

Rugger, can you let us know which part of Scottsdale? The city runs 30 miles long end to end.

Ok, so I learned something already. Who knew the city was 30 miles long. Staying at Westin near 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright. Restaurants in the area you recommend would be much appreciated. Closer to the hotel the better. Patio a plus; nice decor a plus.

Zinc Bistro @ Kierland Commons is within walking distance of your hotel.
Great Patio....Great food!
Get the mussels, the pomme frites, the duck confit...you can't go wrong!

I'll give my nod to Zinc Bistro in the Kierland Commons, the outdoor mall right there at the Westin. I took 5 girlfriends there 2 weeks ago and had a great time. There is a patio and seating outside along the sidewalk. The house salad had some of the best dressing I've ever had. All the girls loved it. I had a duck trio for the entree - slices of duck breast, a duck leg, and a mini cassoluet, all good. A sample menu can be found on their website, www.zincbistroaz.com.
Inside the Westin, there is Deseo. I ate there 3 years ago. Good upscale Latin cuisine.
There are several other restaurants at Kierland. The only other one I have eaten at is The Greene House, and I wasn't impressed. Too little food for the pricepoint, and a snooty attitude from the staff. Perhaps others can chime in on the other Kierland restaurants.

Zinc Bistro is very nice indeed.

Also, you might consider The Persian Room. No patio that I know of, but the interior is very nice, the portions large and the cost is not extravagant.
