Bringing the inside out

My husband and I got married in Spain with little fanfare so my mum is throwing us a party. She appropriately wants Spanish tapas or a nod in that direction but we can't seem to find a tapas place big enough for 80. The few spanish places around are quite small.
Jamie Kennedy Church St. is totally into it and can manage 80 but my husband really wants a place with a patio or courtyard and would rather not have to walk through a full bar.

We really don't want to bother with rental spaces. If needs be, we will, but it would have to have decent outside access and would have to be somewhat laid back. We tend rather more towards shabby than chic and we're not 100% stuck on tapas. We thought about Brassai but it's WAY too slick.

Any ideas?

Plus, has anyone eaten at the oyster resto at the Distillery? Is it any good?

How about Cava at Yongs and St. Clair. Food is tapas style and pretty good. Nice for a festive occasion. Have decent selection of Spanish wines and cava too.

Haven't been there in a while, but La Bodega on Baldwin, maybe?

Thank you. i'll check it out. I've walked by it a hundred times and never gone. I suppose it's time I did.

La Bodega is French, despite the name. Nice place, but French.
