My Google Map of North Naples

Inspired by another poster, I decided to try creating my own Google Map of restaurants in North Naples near our condo. The emphasis is on small local places rather than chains. Each contains brief comments and links to their Web site and to reviews in the local paper. Consider this a work in progress; I'd be glad to add links to maps of other areas of Naples, Bonita Springs and the surrounding area.

It's easy to create these maps; see http://maps.google.com/help/maps/user...

  1. Tom, that map is really impressive, very informative, but I'm afraid you may have too much time on your hands :)

    1. Wow. I'm impressed. We don't live too far from Naples and I'm sure we'll be making good use of your map and reveiws in the future. Thank you.

      1. Nice work! We were just in Naples a few weeks ago, could have used this.

        1. I guess I'm the pot now (or the kettle). I spent 2 hours making a google restaurant map of my summer residence in Lake Tahoe.

          1. Have you discovered any excellent bakeries in that area? NOT chains, nor bagel places, but real bakeries with berry tarts and Napoleons and butter cookies, etc.

The best place for this sort of stuff in my opinion is the French Bread Oven in East Naples in St. Andrews Square (US 41 east). This is my current favorite bakery in Naples. I have not added that to my map yet.
