elephant ears at Porto's?

Has anyone tried them and wish to comment?

I *almost* bought one today, but refrained from doing so-- if only because I didn't want my first meal of the day (at around 1PM after having gotten up at 7) to be just that.

They're good because everything there flies out the door and is so fresh at Porto's. But they're inconsistent....sometimes dripping with brown sugar , other times more cinnamon-strength...other times just it's almost like they forgot to dip them in sugar.

they are absolutely delicious! flakey, sugary, cinnamon-y. be sure to also get the guava and cheese pastry. mmmMmmmmm.
