Moldy Wonton Wrappers?

I made my filling and I sit down to wrap them. Then I look at the wrappers and they are brown dots on the wrappers. I suspect it might be mold. Should I throw the wrappers away or would boiling the wontons kill whatever harmful stuff is on it? What should I do with my filling? :( I'm bummed.

  1. Make meatballs and throw out the wrappers...what they cost a few $$? Is it worth it?

      yes throw them out-- buy wonton wrappers the same day or day before making potstickers, they are perishable.

        I just found a recipe for homemade wonton wrappers. I'll try that. If it doesn't work then meatballs it is. Thanks! I was so ready to have wontons since I have some duck soup cooking.

          if you like making the dough yourself i rec ming tsai's recipe for wrappers in the blue ginger book for next time. it rules! good luck :)
