Free Disney Dining Plan
Disney World is offering their dining plan for free this fall. (yea!!- or so i thought) The plan includes one snack, one quick service meal (the disney version of fast food), and one table service meal per night. This sounded like plenty of food to me, and an all around great deal- until I read the details of the plan. Almost all of my favorite restaurants- Artist Point, Jiko, California Grill, ect.. count as two table service meals. So I am determined to find good food in "the World" that fits this free dining plan. (I kinda have to- we're on a bit of a budget) Can anyone recommend their favorite on site restaurants or quick service spots. (lunch spots are really needed as I was able to find a few dinner recommendations on these boards.) We're not food snobs either. I'd be happy with a good burger place for lunch or fruit and cheese for breakfast. Any suggestions or recommendations would truely be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

We really liked these WDW restaurants:
* Ohana's (good dinner at the Poly resort)
* Kona Cafe (great breakfast/lunch/dinner at the Poly resort)
* Le Cellier (great lunch and dinner at the Epcot)
* Boma (great dinner at AKL)
* Flame Tree BBQ (good lunch spot at AK)
* Earl of Sandwich (great breakfast/lunch at DTD)
* Beaches & Cream (lunch/dinner) -
Okay, checked out the brochure and here are my recommendations (Where are you staying on-property? Will you have a car? You will need to if you want to go from Resort to Resort - the buses are not very convenient for that.).
Resort recos: Boma (good for breakfast or dinner), Beaches & Cream for lunch - pretty good burgers but great ice cream!, Spoodles (again just breakfast and dinner), Olivia's Cafe has a pretty decent lunch - plus the desserts are good!, love Kona Cafe for lunch - get the open-face Salmon sandwich, Turf Club Bar and Grill at Saratoga for lunch - opened last year - great steaks!
Park recos: Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Restaurant Marrakesh (Morocco is actually one of my favorite restaurants at Epcot), Sunshine Seasons at The Land (I like the Goat Cheese and Beets salad and a bowl of the ginger carrot soup), Tusker House. Sorry, nothing I can really recommend for MGM - I can't believe the Brown Derby is counted as two meals for lunch! If you have to, then Mama Melrose's is not that bad.
