The Rack- Platt road in Tampa
I have heard they have sushi and some decent sandwiches here. Thinking of going before the hockey game- anything worthwhile? I could go for some yummy sushi :)

We did make it before the game. A very fun lively place. The sushi was quite good- very "american style" but thats what I like! Our non fishy friends got a turkey BLT that looked great and very cheesy quesadillas. The mussels were perfectly done- altho the garlic bread to sop up the sauce wasn't so good. The light pasta plate was ok- pesto was a bit flat but veggies (squash, zuchini, shrooms) were good.

One of my favorite neighborhood hangouts with surprisingly good sushi. Fish is really fresh and the environment is not pretentious. It also has quite a few pool tables, but it doesn't have the feel at all of your typical pool hall. As a bonus, they serve enough food to warrant it non-smoking, which is a plus in my book. The bar food menu is pretty good as well, so non-sushi eaters will also find plenty of options. Start there and you can drive right down Platt to the game.
