  1. Buck's is a fun place, but more for the decor & writings than the food (which isn't bad, but isn't spectacular either). I like the nachos best there.

    1. I'm a big fan of the artichoke, half stuffed with Dungeness crab, the other half with shrimp.

If you haven't checked out their menu, it will give you a pretty good idea of the overal feel of the place.

      1. I've never had anything bad there, although I've eaten breakfast there more than dinner. For dinner, I like the New Mexico Cobb Salad ("the size of a hat"). I also like the Hot Dungeness Crab sandwich. It's a fun place to eat.

        1. Just in case anyone had any suspicions otherwise --- buck's is still buck's. Business in the morning, families in the evening, still the awesome decor, probably the best silicon valley museum available.

I like Parkside Grill a bit on that side of the world, at least after one visit. Fresher menu, better beer.

Still --- buck's has it's Thing going on.

I went there for lunch on Mother's Day. A bit foolish, but it was the only time I could go. Insanely crowded, but fun and the food was fine. Did you read the reference to it in that silly Chronicle serial?

I didn't read and remember. There is a lot of history there... my friend original sealed box of Windows 1.0 is enshrined there.
