Hi - I am hoping SOMEONE out there can help me!! A few years ago my husband and I and some family stumbled on to this GREAT place for breakfast near Brick Township/Toms River, NJ. It was like a small diner type of place. They had a HUGE menu and served the breakfasts in small cast-iron skillets. I would love to find this place, and my husband has promised to drive me there from Port Chester if I can find the name!

I think that you are thinking of Mariner's Cove in Brielle. My SIL and BIL just love this place.

I am newer to NJ. Went to Turning Point, a great place in Manalapan. It is a small local chain, I think they are in Little Silver, Long Branch and possibly elsewhere. Not sure if this is it, even if it isn't, it would be worth the trip.

The Turning Point does serve skillets but it's not near Brick/Toms River. In addition to above, they have locations in Holmdel and Hoboken.
