Great little Turkish market on the UES

I am so glad Straight from the Market moved in where the cell phone store used to be on the corner of 96th and Lexington. They have a respectable seleciton of Turkish stuff: good bread (those oval shaped loaves of fresh pide bread) and baklava, imported Kashar and feta cheeses, yogurts, Turkish soft drinks and juices (sour cherry-YUM) canned and prepared things from Turkey, Turkish candy, cookies and snack, lokum, Turkish tea and coffee, lentils and other legumes, bulgar wheat etc etc...For the UES it's really quite good.

Wow good to know, thanks for the tip. Between that and Gourmet Garage, 96th in that area is a food shopping destination.
