Any recommendations for a wonderful, memorable - but very casual - Seattle meal? we just got in from Brooklyn and the airlines lost our luggage... so we're stuck with jeans and sneakers for dinner tonight. thanks in advance!

Lucky for you, Seattle is VERY casual! MSFT has paved the way for fine dining in star wars t-shirts and Birkenstock's. So all you need is to be comfortable and hungry- and you should be fine- and with lots of good options.

    Good Luck!

Jamie, I suggest the Palace Kitchen. Very casual, festive with earthy food. (Most of Seattle is not that upscale in dress anyway.) Second suggestion would be 94 Stewart Street in Pike's Market. (At 94 Stewart.) If you go, don't miss the Crab/Avacado appetizer. Third suggestion would be the upstairs bar at Maximillen's at the Market. The mussels are the best. (And I've had the mussels at Fiorello's in New York.)
