Hungry Cat "Lobster Roll Deluxe"?

annalulu Apr 14, 2007 06:21 PM

Checked out the updated menu at Hungry Cat to see what the seasonal offerings were, and I noticed something called a Lobster Roll Deluxe for $30. I can only imagine this is much larger than the one they used to serve...and more...deluxe. So...what does that mean? Anyone have one yet?

You hit the nail on the head. It's just bigger.

I think that people are probably willing to spend that much on something that is bigger as opposed to spending $22 for something smaller than a twinkie; the original size was really ridiculous.

I had it 2 nights ago. I never had it's predecessor. It seemed agood size for the price. I did notice that the cut of the fries changed. The Lobster roll itself was butterey sweet goodness with generous amounts of Lobster. That and 3 tangerine margaritas hit the spot.

Is it a classic New England lobster roll? I.E., lobster meat, mayo, and MAYBE celery. Or is it butterd lobster meat on a roll?

It is fashioned after a classic NE lobster roll.
