        <content>I just made Nigella's snickerdoodle recipe for the first time. followed the recipe exactly and rolled the balls of dough into the size per the recipe and baked according to instructions.

They all stayed in their little ball shapes and did not flatten out as I expected. Any ideas why not?

They are delicious but like little balls rather than flat cookies  :(</content>

      <content>The classic snickerdoodle is flattened with the bottom of a glass dipped in cinnamon sugar prior to baking.  Did Nigella not mention that?  Shame on her...</content>
