Meatloaf & Eggs Breakfast. Who Makes it?

JeetJet Apr 13, 2007 08:00 PM

Eat at Joe's in Redondo Beach has it and Lisa's in Covina will make it on request. But I want to try others because every cook has their own idea of what meatloaf should be. Brown gravy all over everything would be good too. Ever notice it anyplace? My Thanks, JeetJet?

I just ate at Pann's where Inglewood, Ladera Heights and Westchester merge. Although I didn't see meatloaf and eggs listed on the breakfast menu, they do serve meatloaf there as an entree. It might be worth a call to see if they do it on request as well... they do serve it with brown gravy.

Brighton Coffee Shop on Camden and Brighton Way in Beverly Hills. It has my favorite meatloaf -- very light, not dense at all. They have meatloaf and eggs on their breakfast menu. They serve it at breakfast with a little sour cream and avocado, but I prefer it plain. I don't recall ever having the meatloaf with gravy, though.

      Brighton is cash only.

I'm pretty sure Liberty Grill in downtown will do it for you if you ask.

S & W on Washington in Culver City offers meatloaf as one of their breakfast combo items. Comes with a couple of eggs done any way and a choice of sides such as pancakes, hash browns, cottage cheese, etc. Being a big meatloaf fan, I tried it recently and found it to be a little loose and bready. I like their homemade corned beef hash better. But S & W does a great job -- eggs cooked properly, hash browns really crispy on request.
