Anniversary Dinner

  • 5

I will be taking my wife out next week for our anniversary, and am looking for recommendations for a nice evening out. Aside from the high end stuff (North 44, Canoe, Centro, etc.), which we've already tried, I'm looking for quirky, delicious out of the way suggestions.

She doesn't like Middle Eastern or Caribbean food mainly due to the spices. It's the really earthy spices that turn her off. She loves Italian, French, and the like.

Would appreciate some help! TIA.

  1. How about a lovely Italian dinner at Mistura, then upstairs to Sopra Lounge for after dinner drinks and jazz?

Sorry to Hijack .... Mitsura seems to be the place to go for Italian and anniversaries. I went on their website, didn't seem to have prices. What kind of price range are we look at ?

similar pricing to Centro, around $3x for main except the Kobe Beef which is $49 but the portion is big ! If you take pasta it is like $2x.
It is romantic and dark, the table are quite close to each other if you are not seated at the booth. I recommend it too but it is not cheap...

Sounds perfect SkylineR33... I'll reserve tomorrow for our anniversary on Tuesday!

          Thank you!

Thanks for the idea. We wanted to go there for Winterlicious but ended up going to a bunch of other places instead. They're 5 minutes away from where we live too.
