Within a 10-15 minute walk or cab ride from the Financial District. Price no object, but need not be pricey. I would certainly put Radius on the list. Other ideas?

In no real order (and definitely IMO only, as there are so many other good options within 15 minutes of the Financial District):

    1) Chacarero
    2) Sultan's Kitchen
    3) King Fung Garden (Chinatown)
    4) New Jumbo Seafood (Chinatown)
    5) Galleria Umberto (North End)

      High end..I'd add Locke Ober

Low End..Sam LaGrasso's for corned beef or pastrami, Hong Kong Eatery, Hei La Moon..for dim sum, Peach Farm Seafood

All the others named are also in my regular rotation.

          A few ideas:

Pricey: Sel de la Terre, Neptune Oyster, No. 9 Park, Bristol
Mid: Silvertone, Good Life, Taiwan Cafe, Grotto
Cheap: Chacarero, Sultan's Kitchen, Xinh Xinh, Burrito Express

Great recommendations - I would suggest a "Chinatown" stroll. Choose a place (Shabu Shabu comes to mind) and then on later ventures move up and down the streets - much to explore.
