Problem is, I'm in LA and she's in SF. Has anyone seen any great cream cheese frosting lately? She'll settle for it on carrot cake, or even banana bread. It doesn't have to be red velvet. Of course you have to buy 9 cupcakes. There were at least 2 other cream cheese frosting desserts as well from other bakeries. I remembered a posting on chowhound proclaiming the bliss of old Coke made with sugar versus HFCS and if someone were going back to Mexico to bring back a case, etc....
