Recommendations in the Newburgh area?

We expect to be in Newburgh, NY, this weekend. With that in mind, I'd appreciate recommendations for something nice for lunch or dinner in or near Newburgh. It doesn't have to be fancy. In fact, we'll be coming from a rugby match (watching, not playing), so dressing up isn't the idea. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's a terrific diner in Newburgh, The Alexis Diner, right on Interstate 84. Open 24 hours, I believe. Great for any meal.... any time of day.

Close to the Alexis is Barnstormer, if they're still there. I think they were first noted here, and that their ribs are supposed to be good.

Look into Schlesingers Steak House it is one of my favorites, it is in New Windsor which I do not think is too far off.
