It may be Peruvian or perhaps, more likely, Columbian. In any event, it's good. The name is Pollo el Paisa, on Old Country road in Westbury. they serve whole, half or 1/4 chickens with rice and beans and plantain. Enjoy

Still haven't tried the place on OCR but have read many positive reviews. Been going to Pio Pio in JH for many years and love their chicken and the green sauce that comes with it. Feel inspired to do a comparison asap.

The place on OCR is spectacular. It's pretty close to the Century 21, just west of the Wantagh.

Ate at Machu Picchu in Glen Cove a few years ago. It was very good then...

Sabor Peruano on Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park. Haven't been but would assume they have pollo ala brasa there. Heard positive recommendation on food in general but can't vouch personally. This may be too far east for you since you're asking about Queens too.
