[Woburn] Bubble Tea at Boston King Coffee

Nice to have a bubble tea option up this way.

Today I had a mango flavor and was surprised that it tasted like real mango juice. I asked if they use powder or not. He said no, everything they serve there is natural and he showed me the concentrated mango juice. So that's good to know that their bubble teas are a little better because they don't use that powder stuff that a lot of others do.

If you ask what flavors they have, they'll tell you and it will save you from trying to order flavors that are on the menu but not in stock.

186 Cambridge Rd.

PS. They make good sandwiches too. Except that the artisan breads behind the counter are there just for decoration!

  1. I've heard good things about that place. I'm very happy to hear they have non-powder bubble tea. Thanks for the heads-up!

Sadly, they've been out of tapioca balls for over two weeks. They're still waiting on a delivery. Couldn't they make a run to Super 88 and pick up some?

Great place but there are just a few odd things. Like every day, they play the same CD, it sounds like a dance/jazz fusion, maybe Brazilian. They still have those artisan breads on display, but for display purposes only. They frequently take a long time to bring out drink orders. They're usually delivered well after your food is delivered.

They're still out of the bubbles for bubble tea. The nice man behind the counter said he was going to call the supplier right away and find out why they're late. I'm not holding my breath.

I had a delicious slice of pumkin ginger torte. You should try it.
