Do they still do samples? I read a few years ago that the city was going to stop the practice for health reasons, but I just moved back to Dallas.

I don't remember seeing any but I wasn't asking questions either. I'm probably gonna go back this weekend, I hope they have more local stuff. Seemed like a lot of imports last time.

Samples yes and the whole place is getting so much better. More farmers and local stuff.

yep I went last weekend and bought some oranges because the samples were good. I wonder how you could force the market to stop while allowing Walmart and it's ilk to continue.

Last time I went (about 6 months ago..I now live in Austin) samples were everywhere.n Go and enjoy!

Last time I was there (October), the vendors were still passing out samples of fresh cut fruit.
