Note to self, stop buying TJ's...

Frozen Soba Noodle Bowl.

It's mushy, it's salty, it doesn't taste like sesame oil, and you like the veggie rice bowl MUCH better. Stop buying it. You can't even finish it for lunch, which is sad because you're starving.

Also, why did they take away those tortilla chips with flax seed?

What are you buying from Trader Joe's that you continuously don't like, but keep forgetting, so that you buy it again the next time you're shopping?

Damn. I have a jar of the red peppers in my cabinet right now...But I was thinking of a blended red pepper pasta sauce--maybe?

The jarred reds are fine, but of course none will ever be as good as home-roasted. They'll make a decent sauce. I used to keep a jar for "emergencies," but now I just always prefer the taste of homemade.

I agree the frozen soba is gross and yes! always mushy.
I also have bad experiences with the frozen perogies. They always come out mushy as well.

Don't steam the perogies. Pan fry them in olive oil until both sides are browned. Much better!

You must mean the chips with mouse droppings...

They're still available in Chicago west 'burbs TSs; in fact, they have added a couple new grain styles, always with the droppings. Bought a bag yesterday.

The canned soups were pretty nasty. Some kind of vegetable soup.
