  1. there are two places to get good cheesesteaks: Billadelphia, which is out towards DFW airport off of 183, and Fred's in Plano. Both make delicious sandwiches, although I'd put Billadelphia incrementally ahead of Fred's. If you _must_ have cheesewiz on your steak, go to Billadelphia :)

As a native of Philadelphia, I have to say that the only place I will go to get a cheesesteak in the DFW area is Billadelphia. They have it all; Amoroso rolls, Cheese Whiz, Herr's chips, hoagies, Tastycakes and a genuine South Philly attitude.

The sandwiches are delicious and as authentic as you can get.

Don't forget the scrapple and panzarotti!

And I second your rec of Billadelphia (as an ex-Philly area girl, myself).

    2. We do Freds about once every two weeks. They have now upgraded their seating and actually painted, it's just doesn't look right for what I would classify as a good dive.

Tried Freds yesterday. It was good although not as much meat as I would have liked. Much better flavor than Texadelphia.

Try the #`18 after many visits most of my office believe it's by far their best sandwich.

      2. Billadelphia has great cheesesteaks. Their seasoned fries are very good too.

        1. A new Billadelphias location opened up 2 weeks ago in Arlington off Collins, south of I30.
