Vanished Spirits postings
Wikipedia is a popular public reference site with strengths and weaknesses. On a very well-informed Spirits-forum thread ("Jack Daniels is not Bourbon," link below) a contributor cited Wikipedia. In the context of spirits, I posted a caution (April 7) to that contributor, about demonstrable limitations of Wikipedia on the subject (citing an example), and the contributor then replied explaining he'd reviewed the source carefully. These postings then vanished. Was it a technical glitch or an editorial issue? (I didn't spot anything relevant in the Guidelines).
