Can anyone recommend a Cameron Hughes current release?

I've had the Edna Valley chardonnay which I didn't care for and I've had one of the cabernets (lot 28 I think) which is way too young to enjoy now.

If there's a bottle that's drinking really well right now, please let me know.

The thing with CH wines is that you are getting them at a discount partially because they have almost no bottle time. None of his wines drink as well as they can straight out of the bottle. Either decant for > 2 hours or lay down for at least a year. I usually buy a case, decant for as long as I can stand it & then base my decision on that. I haven't returned any CH wines to Costco yet. The lot 27 Syrah got a lot better 4-5 hours after decanting. The Lot 9 03 Paso Robles Syrah is superb now.

The Lot 24 Syrah is pretty good.
