Quick eats near Village Vanguard?

Anyone have any thoughts for something quick (probably to go) near the Village Vanguard? Right now I'm thinking pizza, Taim for felafel, or A Salt & Battery. Am I missing anything?

Can you give exact location or cross streets?

Elephant and Castle (Irish/English pub grub) on 68 Greenwich Avenue, between 11th St and 7th Ave, might fit the bill.

There's Cafe Asean on W. 10th near 6th Ave., on the north side of that huge, Gothic church. E&C is probably speedier.

Oh--and there is a Go Sushi location around there, as well. It's fast. I remain agnostic about whether or not I recommend it.

      (Yay Village Vanguard, btw!)

my guess is Good isn't as quick as I'm looking for - really, I'm looking for take out, or eat-in but quick, not sit down and have a full meal-type place.

Go to Karavas on Christopher and 7th Ave S. Get their world class A++ Gyro or their very good cheeseburger. (The pizza is only OK.)
