Sunday Suppers, please! Though I'd love to revisit CP Vegetables at a later date!

I also vote for Sunday Suppers - have been wanting to try this book.

And have to confess that since my prior post - I bought it - it is gorgeous and I'm drooling on some of the photos. (My excuse is that I decided to return a book, and there was Sunday Suppers staring out at me from the cookbook shelves - well, I was kind of looking for it .....)

The only problem is, it's *not* the cookbook of the month yet!

Sunday Suppers is my vote too.

          CP Vegetables!

CP Vegetables vote. Thanks for organizing, Katie, you're doing a great job.

              CP Vegetables
because it helps me so much with veg I don't know about, or when I just need one go-to recipe.

              For May,
              for me,
Sunday Suppers is a little too complicated,
but I'd LOVE to get back to it in future months.

Because I love the spring and early summer recipes in Sunday Suppers, that's my vote. CP Vegetables later in the summer?

              2. jdubboston RE: Katie Nell Apr 10, 2007 02:53 PM

Another vote for Sunday Suppers! I own CP Veg and find some of the recipes overkill on prep, although maybe later in the summer when vegetable abundance is greater it might be more fun?

                  CP Veg, please!

                  1. NYchowcook RE: Katie Nell Apr 10, 2007 03:32 PM

                    My vote is Sunday Suppers.
I would love to do CP Vegetables when there are more fresh vegetables available post-winter in upstate NY!

Sunday Suppers, please! I was so sad that I couldn't get my hands on a copy of Arabesque, so this is fabulous!

Chez Panisse Vegetables since my library doesn't carry Sunday Suppers. :-( I don't really want to buy it either...

                          CPV, please.

Sunday Suppers -- I've been meaning to cook more from it.

Such good choices! I have Sunday Suppers, and would welcome the excuse to crack it open, and I'd love to explore CPV. So I'm going to abstain, and thank you for choosing two great seasonal choices. I'm excited either way. Thanks, Katie, for all your work!

I've not participated in Cookbook of the Month before and am looking forward to doing so. MMRuth's rave about how beautiful it is tilts me toward "Sunday Suppers" though I wouldn't exactly be upset if "Chez Panisse Vegetables" is chosen.

Sunday Suppers. I have both books and would enjoy CPV as well, but Sunday Suppers covers a broader range of dishes. I've cooked from it and already have some favorite recipes.

I'd like to vote for SS, as I'd much rather do Chez Panisse Vegetables when I actually *have* some nice vegetables. My CSA doesn't even start until late June here in chilly NY--

Sunday Suppers. Amazing Cookbook. Though I do hope At Home in Provence comes back into play at some point. It really is a seminal cookbook in a lot of ways, chowhound drama excluded :)

Another vote for Sunday Suppers in May and Chez Panisse Vegetables later in the season when more of us have fresh vegetables available.

Brilliant idea!!! I second it. I was kind of disappointed that CP Vegetables wasn't chosen but you have given me hope.
