Hot Dogs in central fl

I have noticed some relatively new hot dog places around the Orlando area,and have tried a couple,the best of which was Tubbys on 17- 92 in Maitland,easily the best Chicago style dog I've had in the area,anybody else have suggestions for good dog's? ,i am already familiar with Hot Dog Heaven,and Uncle Al's sausage (i believe is the name? in winter park),and both are good,also Doggone good Hot Dogs in Eustice,is pretty good.

If you like "Chicago" style dogs, Mustard's Last Stand has 2 locations in Melbourne; one's on US 1 & the other is in Downtown Melbourne.

I've always been amazed at the posts about great hot dogs.I have posted a few times myself. I grew up in Ohio and had great hot dogs.. The REAL A&W chili dogs, and Lums hot dogs. Geeeez I miss them. I haven't had a GREAT hot dog in 39 years.

Have you tried Zwiegles hots (red or white pop-open hots) these are from Rochester, New York and can be ordered. They are the best we've found. There was (is?) a stand in downtown Delray Beach that sold them, calling them "New York hots".

if you make it to tampa, mels hot dogs is the best in the bay. they are just east of busch gardens on busch blvd. it is prob. the cleanest restaurant ive been in and has won awards for its cleanliness and food also. i rec. the chicago or the might mel. you wont be let down.

There's a hot dog restaurant on Plant Street in Winter Garden. Haven't tried it yet.

In colonialtown on Ferncreek and Colonial there is a stand called between the buns-- they will split and grill the dogs for you! Also fresh fries and great chili!!

You can't miss it- the stand is a giant hot dog in a bun! The guy who operates it is totally a perv; but a harmless and hilarious one!

Sounds a lot like the Wienerschnitzel wiener wagon (the original, not the lame panel vans). Sadly, not available west of Texas.

Mmm, that's a West Virginia dog (chili and slaw) if I'm not mistaken. Arbetter's in Miami made the best hot dogs I've ever had (including introducing me to the West Virginia dog), but I have yet to try Chubby's, Hot Dog Heaven, and Uncle Andy's around here.

If you are ever in the South Daytona Area, I recommend Long Doggers on Nova Road. It's a nifty little place with a great Ruben Dog - and the prices are pretty good. I pay less for a foot long covered in cheese and chili there than a regular plain dog in a baseball stadium! =)
