Has anyone dined @ Big Buck Brewery and Steak in Grapevine (Bass Pro Shops)?

Anyone? If so, how was the Buffalo meat and USDA Certified steaks? Anyone?

  1. Had a steak sandwhich there after a round of golf one day in Grapevine. If anything, I would describe it as "touristy." Nothing to write home about, but it was better than Chillis.

the word "touristy" says so much. Thanks, MarcusB.

I used to work at a hotel in the area and the restaurant gave me gift certificates for referring guests there. When I actually got to try it out, touristy is dead on the spot.

I'd like to actually try the brews though, since the last time I was there, I wasn't able to drink yet...

    2. My trip there was only ok with regard to the food. The steak and sides were about
average. However, they are making some nice beers which do make it worth a visit. Their tripel and Kolsch were reasonably close to style. Their kegs are also reasonable @ $100 for a 1/2 bbl. So, go there to try a beer or two, but plan to eat elsewhere or know your meal won't be that memorable.

      1. I did. In fact I had a Buffalo burger and a brew. Very good burger pretty good brew.
