Microplane Rotary cheese grater, anybody have one?

Just ordere the rotary microplane - I'm tired of passing the hunk of Parm. Cheese around a table for microplaning with hands that may not be as clean as I'd like. Anybody used it yet? Any Pro's or con's?

I like mine, although it grates a bit too fine for my taste.

Mine has two different drums so there is some control but it is very fluffy when grated. I guess I like it that way.

I absolutely love mine. I've been using it for a couple of years. At what point the place where it clicked together on the handle broke. I just wrote to Microplane and they replaced it - easy as that. I love that it's left or right handed too! I even wash mine on the upper tray of the dishwasher. I haven't found a con unless you include dumping the little bits of leftover cheese in a baggy for use next time as a negative.

      Enjoy!

I actually stick the whole shebang - with leftover cheese still in it - in a gallon size ziploc bag.

Got it - love it http://www.chow.com/stories/10177 - just used it tonight. Perfect for just what you said - so everyone doesn't grease their paws on the cheese.
