I'm looking for the BEST recipe for chicken wings. I'm open to any type-ethnic or not, and can tolerate lots of heat (though I'm not necessarily looking for the spiciest wing...just the best). Thanks in advance!

This is my favorite, SIMPLE wing recipe. Bake the wings in a single layer at about 400 degrees for about 45 min. Remove and brush on liberally Yashida's Gourmet Sauce.(Can be bought at Costco, BJ's and most major grocery's.) I add some garlic powder, pepper, and if you like them spicy, red pepper flakes. Turn the oven down to about 300 and continue to bake another 30 min. These are the best teriyaki wings, moist, and tender.

This is my all-time favorite. I hope you like garlic!! This recipe is great as is, but it goes over the top if you soak the sings in the garlic-oil puree all day, or even all night and then all day. Your house will smell amazing as these bake! To make things easier, I buy a container of already-peeled garlc cloves and eyeball how many I think would make up 3 heads.

GARLICKY CHICKEN WINGS

2 lbs. chicken wings (about 8-10)
3 bulbs fresh garlic, separated into cloves and peeled
1 cup plus 1 T olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Split the wings at each joint and discard tips; rinse, then pat dry. Place the garlic, 1 cup olive oil, salt, and hot pepper sauce in a blender or food processor and puree. Pour into a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and pepper. Grease a shallow nonstick baking pan with the remaining 1 TAB olive oil. Dip the wings, one at a time, in the garlic puree, then roll them in the bread crumb mixture, coating them thoroughly. Place in baking pan in a single layer. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until brown and crisp.

I make these Chinese chicken wings for parties all the time. I make huge batches and marinate them in those 2 gallon ziplock bags.
