I agree with all three of the above suggestions. At Los Bagels (I st., btwn 10th & 11th) try the "Veggie Delight", and have them add Larrupin Mustard Dill sauce. My favorite bagel.
Big Blue is great for breakfast, as is the Golden Harvest.
Tomo makes very good sushi, the best sushi overall in Humboldt.
If you're looking for something a little fancier, Folie Douce (G St., around 15th or 16th) is my favorite. There's always a nice seafood special, plus their salads and apps are fantastic. Try their oysters and the savory cheesecake app.
