Restaurant in Imola

beckerjt2 Apr 9, 2007 11:20 AM

My son is studying in Bologna, and we went to Imola with him in search of "one of the best restaurants in Italy",,,, For a host of uninteresting reasons, *that* part of the journey didn't work out - not the least of which was we weren't exactly sure of the name and/or location of said restaurant, and the guide books (except his) and Internet were not very helpful. The name of the place is a "San" something, which I think started with a "G".

Any thoughts ?

It's San Domenico. There was a discussion on this board recently.

Here's the post. Not very helpful, I'm afraid.

Have some fun with the San Domenico link - go to it, right click your mouse and choose "translate page into english" - it will be near the bottom of the list.

I've been to San Domenico twice - but it's been years. Both times - a perfect, but expensive, dining experience.
