Will be in town to see clients Thurs. April 12. Am slated to attend a wine tasting at the Presidio Officer's Club on 50 Moraga Avenue. Would like to entertain some clients for dinner afterward in the area. Any suggestions?

There are places in the Presidio itself, with reviews here. You'll also be very near the Union Street-to-Chestnut Street Cow Hollow/Marina area with many choices. Searching will give you lots of info (I'm out of date with that area). One place that appears frequently here (and very favorably) is A16 on Chestnut Street.

A16's the one destination restaurant nearby. Reservations are a must. Noisy, conversation can be impossible with more than four people.

As was said above, search "presidio" on this site and you will come up with stuff. I love the Presidio Social Club, which is in the Presidio. Great atmosphere, great food. Reservations are necessary.
