I live in Joliet and I was wondering if there are any places near by (within 20 miles or so) to buy fresh Beef, Pork, Chicken or fresh chicken eggs. I used to be able to get chicken eggs so fresh they were still warm! Boy what a treat. I've also had occasions when I happened across someone willing to share some of their fresh 1/2 cow or pig too. But I haven't got any idea where I could go anymore for these items. I love fresh from the chicken eggs...they are the best. And the grass fed beef and poultry is the best and better for you. You can get the grass fed beef and chicken at For the Good of It on Jefferson St but it is so darn expensive.
