Newport weekend

I will be in Newport next weekend with friends. We like to eat in restaurants with both good food and stylish atmosphere. Need lunch, dinner, brunch. Am staying at the Viking Hotel if that is an option. Would love good seafood.

The Mooring, 22 Bowens and The West Deck all offer great food, service and View-Entertainment from all with in walking distance. Pronto,& Tuckers are also Terrific!

Asterix & Obelix on Thames - always perhaps called simply "Asterix" now?

The new & improved Mooring for seafood.

Cafe Zelda on Thames for bistro atmosphere and excellent fries & mac & cheese.

Good food and stylish atmosphere huh.... so no McDonalds?
The Clarke Cook House on a Friday or Saturday night. Salvation Cafe, Spark & 5th Element are alternatives - 5th Element has a busy bar scene as well. Fancy restaurant in town would be the Inn at Castle Hill... great view.
