        <content>I accidentally bought brown eggs instead of the regular white ones to dye for Easter this year. Since it is already late, I am wondering if it will work if we try to dye those. Will they change color enough or should I go back to the store for the white ones!</content>

      <content>I don't know, but why not give it a shot and report back on what happens. You might stumble across some great new colors ... or not. I wasn't into dying eggs this year, so I bought brown eggs. If I had any dye I'd try it, but alas ... </content>

      <content>Yes, but you won't get the "bright" colors that you would get when dying white eggs.  I like the muted, almost pastel-like colors that are produced.  Beware of using green, though, which turns out looking  sort of unappetizing.</content>
