Patsy's Pizza update

Heard a lot here and elsewhere that Patsy's had slipped, and Jose was gone (maybe the two go hand in hand). Glad to report that I just visited and inhaled several slices, from Jose's floury hands, and they all were fine. Can't swear they haven't altered the fat content in the cheese, but still my favorite slice. But it was busy and pies were churning out- was I just seduced by hunger and the enthusiasm of the brutal looking crowd?

That is good to hear. I went about a month ago to the take out counter and inhaled four slices of my own. Crisp, wafer thin slices with a simple tomato sauce. Delish!

Actually, it's between 117th and 118th (and consequently, closer to all the mexican places on 116th that compete for my attention and stomach space when i'm in that area).
