Faux Gras?

Happened to catch Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie on PBS today, and part of the episode concerned foie gras. Anyway, they mentioned that a reasonable facsimile could be made at home (the recipe is available at http://www.diaryofafoodie.org/recipes... ). It seemed like they were just making pate, but maybe it tastes like the real thing. Anybody tried it?

  1. I made it and it was good. I don't think it taste just like foie but it is very good for a liver pate'. Easy and worth a try. I made half the recipe since it doesn't keep long and it's is quite rich. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.
