Cedar Rapids, IA recommendations?

Going to be there the 3rd and 4th weeks of April. Are there any quality places to eat there? Help would be appreciated!

Assuming you will have a car, make the trip to Lincoln Cafe in Mt Vernon which is a short drive. Best food in Eastern Iowa.

Well not knowing if you want expensive or not, there are several upscale restaurants in the downtown area. One is on 2nd Ave between 2nd and 3rd ST called "Blend" another one called Daniel Arthurs on 3rd Ave in the 900 block SE Biaggis on Collins Rd NE If you want authentic mexican fare check out Lupitas Super Burrito on Johnson Ave NW, very, very good. Osaka Japanese on 1st Ave Kajis on Old Marion Rd NE

I'm there for work, so no worries on expenses. Thanks for all these recommendations! Keep em coming if anyone has more to add. Thanks.

Also, 2 weeks is a lot of time, so I will be looking for a good watering hole with decent bar/pub food.

There's a hole-in-the-wall bar with good pizza called the sip'n'stir on 1st ave across from Coe College, and the sausage sandwich next door at Zio Johno's is a yummy heart attack on a plate.

Zoey's pizza up in Marion rocks.

And I firmly second the nominations above of both Blend and Lincoln Cafe.

Lincoln cafe's website, by the way, is www.FoodIsImportant.com (isn't that a great domain name?)

Have been to Blend, Zoey's Pizza, Osaka, and Granite City Brewery in my time in CR. Going to try CR Chophouse tonight for steak. Thanks for the recommendations, all have been good.
