where was I? all night asian snacks and drinks

  • 9

After a rather incredible evening of drinking I ended up a bar in the east village/abc city that served a variety of rather tasty asian small plates. I had a shrimp tempura appetizer, shark fin dumplings, pork dumplings, and a lychee martini. I can't get in touch with my friend, who would recall the name of this place, and was wondering if anyone knew what I was talking about. I am also wondering if this place was really good as I remember or if we just fell in love with it because it served us at 2:30 in the morning after a rather involved spree.

    1. The lychee martini and everything else also makes me think Verlaine on Rivington, but shark fin dumplings I don't know, that seems a little exotic for their menu, I don't remember seeing those.
