Baby carrots and fresh dill?
Would those work together? If not, how would you prepare the baby carrots (these are fresh orange and yellow ones from the farmer's market)?

Even though dill works just fine with carrots, if your fresh baby carrots are picture perfect, why not capitalize on that and prepare them whole with the greens tops intact?
Trim most of the leaves away because they'll wilt when you cook the carrots (or you can trim them after cooking) leaving about an inch or so of stem, peel the carrots gently (they won't need much), and steam quickly. A little bit of sea salt, white pepper and sweet butter and you've got a first class presentation worthy of a top restaurant.
The contrast of the two colors of carrots with the green stems will be beautiful!›1 Reply -
