Rehearal Dinner/ Morristown, Florham Pk, NJ Area

I'll be hosting a rehearsal dinner for about 30 people and I'm not familiar with the area. I'm looking for good food and atmosphere without ultra high prices. Any suggestions?

Pierre's was also my suggestion when you posted on the Mid-Atlantic board.

Note: Acc. to the way the Chowhound moderators have split the state between
two boards, :-( this is the more appropriate board for your question because Morristown/Florham Pk. are in Northern NJ.

You might want to check out Rod's Steakhouse at the Madison Hotel, and Copeland's at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel.

I can second what Ambrose says about Pierre's. I'm a big fan. Very good quality/price ratio and it's a lovely setting.

Phone Pierre's Bistro and see what they can offer. Several years ago, we had a rehearsal dinner there and were extremely pleased. Food was excellent, the service was efficient and unobtrusive and the price was very fair (certainly not ultra high).

Our group also numbered about 30 so we opted for a private room, which kept us isolated from the very busy Friday night crowd.

There are numerous other restaurants in the Morristown/Florham Park area so hopefully others will chime in. As there is continual confusion about where central and north Jersey meet, you may also want to post your message on the Mid-Atlantic board.

I had seen Pierre's online and thought it looked interesting. Thank for the tip on the Mid-Atlantic board.

Think Pierres is no longer in business.
Website and phone number no more.

Yes, I realize. Was doing research for another post and this was one of the restaurants recommended. When I went to validate that Pierre's was still open, it was not. Just an FYI.
Apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
