ISO Good Humor Toasted Almond Ice Cream Bars

Good Humor makes three flavors of the cake/ice cream bars: chocolate, strawberry, and toasted almond. I've never been able to find the toasted almond flavor in NYC grocery stores. I can get them from some vendors in Central Park in the summer, but I'd like to buy a box and take them home.

Does anyone recall seeing the almond flavor ones anywhere?

I know that you are looking for Good Humor ice cream, but you should definitely try this ice cream shop in Chinatown called the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory on Bayard Street.
65 Bayard Street. Here's their website:

they have almond cookie ice cream. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sell it by the pint, quart, etc....

      2. I must have eaten a thousands Toasted Almond bars during my childhood on LI from trucks, Had one 5 or 6 years ago and couldn't remember why they were so appealing!

Good Humor used to make a Chocolate Fudge Cake bar, which was where most of my spare money went as a kid. Do they still exist, or the Chocolate Eclair bar? They were haute cuisine to a 12 year-old.

I loved the chocolate cake bar too-I don't lknow if they exist in supermarkets-I have found a choco chip cookie ice cream sandwich in the Korean deli-that's the only Good Humor ice cream treat I have seen outside a Good Humor truck.Let me know any updates.
