Visiting family for Easter and have no idea where to eat. They live in Queen's New York..Hollis area and we're looking for a fine dining restaurant for 4 people...reasonably priced. Any ideas? This is for tonight...sorry for the short notice but hats off to whoever can get me out of my pickle!! Thanks

O'Lavrador isn't worth a detour, that is if it's still around. With a car Flushing is 20 minutes away if that. Also, there's some South Indian Place (Kerala food) out by the Queens/Nassau border that was discussed on this board a while ago.

The Kerala place is discussed here.http://www.chowhound.com/topics/309541

I guess O'Lavrador went downhill. Years ago it was worth the trip from Manhattan and the only reason I didn't go more often is that better Portuguese is to be found in Newark.
