He was such a wonderful influence in my passion for loving food, dining, cooking, etc. I heard his place in Lacombe was undergoing a little makeover and was to reopen with a new chef, maybe someone that worked with Chris? John Besh worked for Chef Chris before he went off on his own. For years before Chris's passing he tried to get John to buy the restaurant which he ultimately did.They were good friends and John will maintain Chris's vision because he values Chris's legacy.
