I am a regular at LeNell's in Red Hook and at Astor Wines & Spirits but I am looking for other places that have some of the more difficult to find items, especially gin and rum, as well as bourbon, single malts, and liqueurs. I'd love to find another downtown store that carries it--it's kind of become by benchmark product for judging the quality of a liquor store's stock. It's a funky little place (complete with peeing cupid fountain), and she carries a lot of local spirits that other stores don't. They also have a database that keeps tabs on what you've bought, so when you go back, and you want to remember a bottle you bought that you liked, they can pull it up for you.
