New panaderia in Carrboro Plaza

I accidentally happened across a new panaderia in Carrboro Plaza (off of Hwy 54, w/ the Food Lion and Arby's). The women at the counter told me they opened last weekend.

They still seemed to be getting things set up but they had 20 varieties of bread and pastry, a few cakes, drinks, and a small grocery section.

Prices were reasonable (4 pastries and a coke came to under $6). They also gave me a free slice of cake.

What I got was as good as any Mexican pastry I've had around here, even though it was quite late in the day and I assume most of it was made in the morning.

I neglected to ask the name but it is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

My husband happened on this place last week and brought home a sweet bread roll that was yummy. I will definitely have to stop by there.
