Is there a restaurant called Masas or Mesas in St. Helena? I had dinner in 1994 at a great spot and had the best fois gras first course ever. It was highly rated, but I cannot recall the name. My son will be there on his honeymoon and is seeking the name and location.

Terra in St. Helena is wonderful! One of my favorites--the building has a great atmosphere also.
Another place, Brix on Hwy.29 has a great view and is a nice place to stop on the way for a glass of wine or one the way back for dessert. Actually, Terra has great dessert too!

I also enjoy Terra. Theres a cute new little place on the Main street in St Helena called Cook, casual and homey. It's one of the old chef's from Tra Vigne. But for the best Foie Gras dish ever you have o check out Budo in Napa. Served with big eye tuna it is the best combination I have ever had. They were just listed in Food and Wine magazine as one of the best Asian restaurant to go to next. And for someone on their honeymoon it would make the trip very memorable!
